Practical Life
Practical: means basic, useful, purposeful
Life: means the way of living.
Practical Life Exercises are just that, they are Exercises so the child can learn how to do living activities in a purposeful way.
The following exercises will give the 3-6 yr. old student a strong basis in many different types of activities, including many grace and courtesy lessons, very needed in society today. These lessons also form a strong basis in what Maria Montessori called “Cosmic Education” and the “whole education of the child”.
